[Q] Samsung Captivate or GT-I9000?

Alright, well so far I have both because I wanted to try them both out and then sell the one I liked the least. I was hoping someone could help me make this decision. So far these are my observations with both of them.
Pros about the I9000:
I like the FFC.
Seems to have much more development work on it so far.
I'm able to get H on it, resulting a better signal wherever I go.
Cons about the I9000:
Unlocked of course.
Doesn't have the 850 H band which I don't like.
Case isn't as nice as the Captivates (feels and looks cheaper)
Gets hotter. I think part of it was from mimocan lag fix. (Seems to run cooler now)
Captivate has twice as much internal storage. 16gb vs. 8gb.

Basically I'm really hoping someone can find a way to unlock H on the captivate which would really hope reception in my area. But which would be the better phone in the long run?

The stock AT&T ROM on the Captivate doesn't differentiate between "3G" and "H". So if you're on AT&T you may be getting HSDPA but the phone will only show "3G".

Wow, I had no idea... I just thought ATT just blocked it all together. I'm going to try to the new firmware tonight on it, and see if it helps any.

glad i found this thread.
i currently own a captivate but hopefully about to own a i9000 aswell.
my captivate is routed running cyanogen mod and miui.
the i9000 will be stock standard.

in general how do the 2 phones compare?

I9000 is the same spec wise, but has front cam.
