I also turned off my wifi connection to my 5ghz channel and went to the 2.4ghz channel and now it constantly pops up saying connected to 2.4ghz at the bottom of the screen like it's disconnecting and reconnecting again. What did i do wrong. Someone please help.

It is normal for titanium backup to ask you to restore previous android I'd, I always restore mine & it automatically reboots when you restore it.

When you restore backups from titanium, what kind of restore do you do? You should only be restoring user apps + system DATA, never restore system apps.

When you calibrated battery did you follow instructions to fully charge device, then reset the calibration, then let it run dead and do a full charge again?

As for Wi-Fi, I still don't understand why some people have issues and some don't, with the same rom and kernel, makes me wonder about people restoring system apps instead of just system data, or some user apps that are causing the problem?

Personally I use Avast Free Anti-Virus and I enable the firewall and block all network / data access for apps that want data access for no reason (for example some live wallpapers)

Hey there biovolt. Well it looks like my authentication issues went away when i switched back to my 5ghz channel. Weird! When i opened tibu i never restored anything. When it rebooted and i noticed the authentication issues on the 2.4 channel and my battery dropping so fast just after reboot i stopped. I worried that using my old i.d. from before maybe brought some of my issues from my old rom over to my new one.

Btw i use avg for security on mine. I wonder if i can set avg up like you have avast set up. I'll look into it.

Every time u flash a rom your ID changes, some paid (very few) apps uses this ID to identify your purchase,it doesn't matter if u restore it or not(i do it) and it need to reboot to restore it. The reason your battery acts crazy is because u deleted batterystat.bin and it need a few charge/decharge cycles to get the batterystats, don't worry it's perfectly normal, u can experience that the battery is at 0 and use it for 10-60 min.but only on first cycle, sorry i didn't explain that earlier, it can freak u out...
Wifi is usually set for 5ghz, very few can use 2.4ghz, so always set at auto or 5ghz.

Ps.. use "droidwall " as firewall from market it's free.the one that installs binaries,so no app can work around the firewall. At least very few can
