DONATE TO ME
Im rooted on phonebricker ics 2.7, had this battery for about 5 days and only getting around 13-15 hours with 2 and a half hours screen time. Just seems wrong to me for some reason with everyone posting these amazing battery lives. Heres to hoping mine isn't defective

EDIT: alright I've had this thing for over a week now and still no improvement. Even went back to GB just to see if it was ICS sucking my juice and the battery still sucks. Im gonna exchange it for a new one and I'm back to stock battery in the meantime

this battery is horrible and useless... its big for no reason and the case that comes with it isnt even the one in the advertisement. and to top it off the first one i got was DOA and the replacement died 31 days after it arrived... which prompted the seller to tell me i was S.O.L. screw these guys and screw their products.

After market batteries are never guaranteed and it's usually hit and miss per person. However for the most part, most of the people in this thread have reported great battery life.

Please keep flaming to a minimum.

Hey guys. I had some really bad experiences with this battery and would definitely discourage people from buying one.

I ordered one of these for my SGS2 with the hopes that it would more than double my battery life. Instead it cut it in half (4-6 hours)! The first battery arrived DOA and wouldn't charge. I contacted the seller, who sent me a replacement (another week of slow shipping). The second one held a charge but lasted half as long as the stock battery. At that point I just returned it for a refund.

The quality control on these is horrible and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. You'll spend weeks waiting on them to arrive only to see them dead or with poor capacity. The best option is the extended capacity OEM Samsung battery. It might not be as big, but you know it'll work.

Received this battery last Wednesday.
First 2 cycles have been well over 34 hours each, with 6 hours screen time on first and 5+ on second run. Got used to the hefty feel in no time. Def worth the investment so far

I am posting my OEM battery stats so you all, and myself can get a feel as to what stock provides. I will be posting the same once I first get the extended battery and again after 5 cycles to make a clear comparison. To better standardize the tests I will try this again on my phone but simply charge to 100% and time how long it takes to get to 50% using nothing but a stability testing program.

This battery/phone is four months old. I am using the conservative governor. Sadly I forgot to take a shot of cpuspy but a majority of the time my cpu was in deep sleep or 200mhz. Higher of course at a few blips when browsing the internet to load pages.

When the screen was on it was being used to access facebook and browse the web, the sites viewed weren't intensive. Other than that about 30mins of 480p youtube video was watched. Only cell phone radios and wifi were on, gps was on for literally two mins, and no bluetooth. The brightness was set to 40%. I religiously kill apps no longer in use with only messages, browser, and Facebook left running.

the rest of the info pertaining to battery usage is in the screenshots.

P.S. I never expected much out of the battery, but this thing really goes away at the blink of an eye with little use. I hope I don't get a bunk extended battery as I need longer life.

I've been running this battery since April and I always get at least 40-50 hours of use out of it. This is on several different roms for the record. It sucks to hear that others are not having as good as luck, but I think we should also mention who the actual seller was. I purchased mine with "Bluemall" via Amazon:

Since I've had good luck with them you may want to make sure you try to use them. Obviously this is my experience so things may have changed.

I picked one up from blue mall last week averaging just under 40 hrs battery life with moderate to heavy use. Which is about triple what I was getting before, so I'm happy. At first the bulk was somewhat ugly but its weird how quickly you get used to it like others say.

Man.,.. I ordered this battery without looking at the model. Since this thread was posted in the SGH-i727 forum, I thought it would have been for it.
