No as in CM10 and all other JB ROM's out right now you only have MTP. If it gets merged into CM10 then you'll get it on here too.
Yes you can use it... I searched internet and found this mod to enable USB mass storage mode in CM10...... you can download it from my drop box... link given below. Again I am not the one who made it.... but who ever did... he did a great job.....

So how the hell can I transfer my files like on earlier versions, I mean USB mode? I tried the USB Mass storage app from the market and it doesnt work at me. It is installed, but when I connect the phone to the PC nothing happens.

Go back to gingerbread rather than complaining.... You can get USB mode from recovery anyway, and MTP mode only works if you install the drivers on your PC. But of course, its easier to complain lazily rather than search for simple solutions.
Update: this new upload is for PA v1.97a. Hope you like it! Also, solved the issue when using other themes. This would work now in default or any other theme as this is almost all hard coded and not just replacing icons with transparent ones. Cheers!
why do you need softbuttons at all? settings/system/navbar/ can hide them,

no he means something else. he means the in-app menu button.

So after reading pages and pages in this thread I am no further forward.
In PA-ICS I understood everything perfectly, the settings page was excellent. But in JB the PA Settings seem to have taken a step backwards (or maybe I am just being stupid :P)
My question is: How do you change "user app density" and "system app density" in 1.97? (Not individual apps, mean the global denity for all user/system apps)
Thanks in advance,
Tom
we started since to make a new panel. if you start from scratch you obviously have less functionality in the beginning. you can always go and edit properties.conf though. UI panel will come soon i heard.

you restored your old settings. dont do that until its out of alpha. theres new stuff coming in all the time and the GUI relies on it. did your old props have the min/max options? no wonder then its stuck at zero. use the restore function to get back an original prop file

you can change user_default_dpi and system_default_dpi in properties.conf.
PA does not change build.prop system dpi. the system will always run in default dpi, no matter what. but thats a technicality, if you set both default values to something, all your apps will be projected to that dpi.

Have run a search on the thread, but searching for H+ just runs a search on H, so please forgive me if the question has already been asked ...
I'm running 1.97a as a second ROM on my GSII, dual-booting with a rooted but stock Sammy ROM. In the Sammy ROM I get the H+ Icon in the top bar (when I have a good connection), but in P.Android I only get an 'H'. Pretty sure that connection speeds are the same, so it's not a major issue, I'd just like to see the '+' there for reassurance.
I have enabled HSDPA in the Advanced settings, so that's not the issue. Am I missing something glaringly obvious? Or does PA/CM10 just not have an 'H+' icon?
Any input much appreciated. Or you may politely flame my ass off if you prefer
[EDIT] Have since researched further ... AOKP doesn't natively support H+, but other devs have cooked a patch into their ROMS - Is there a chance that it can be worked into the next PA release please? (I guess this also means my speed tests were of no use!)
I understand but apps like tweetcaster and friendcaster should have the tablet ui am I wrong

1.97 should be able to get friendcaster right. some apps dont reveal their layout containers. in future we will probably put an override button there that gives you a couple of hardcoded options just in case. in the meantime you can go and edit properties.conf. blablalba.layout=720 or 1000 or what you want.
some apps also need to "large screen" option, the kindle app for instance.
before we had three hardcoded values, and that made it seemingly easy. the bad part was, that only 5% of your apps ever reacted to it, because most do not have higher layout containers. even worse, apps define these tresholds by themselves. google play for instance has its tabUI at 800dp. in the old pa you set it to tabletUI (which was hardcoded to 720) and nothing happens.
the new system extract the actual layout containers. its new so it will get more precise in time but i estimate that we get 95% right. thats a staggering leap from a mere 5%. there will always be very few apps left who dont reveal their layouts - not sure if we can get around it, but an override option would solve that problem.
