Status Bar Transparency ...

Okay, folks, I've made two quick flashable zip files to give you status bar transparency for DIET ICS! 8/8.

50% transparency: http://jdbeitz.usgalaxys3.com/Mods.F...Status.Bar.zip
100% transparency: http://jdbeitz.usgalaxys3.com/Mods.F...Status.Bar.zip

I have yet to include this in any of my themes. It is simply for stock version 8/8.

P.S. It ONLY affects the status bar. The notification pull-down is still completely black. That's the next step.

Do you know how to change the notification pull-down to have it also transparent? I did a search on xda, and all the methods I've tried so far have failed.

This may be a stupid question but I am a little paranoid about losing lte. How can we tell if we have lost lte in an lte area? My phone would have and say 4g but now it only says H. Isn't that 3.5 with enhanced backhaul or am I way off?

Try turning data off and back on to see if you get your 4g sign again. You could always run a speed test.

speedtest is your best bet...though i do miss the lte symbol.
