Good to hear that your battery has improved. Mine has improved too on ICS but one thing that bothered me was that it was stuck at 1% for 3-5 hours on semi standby (was only texting every few minutes nothing else for a good 30 minutes).

Dude that's nothing. I had 1% at 4:30 today while using the phone to.install my apps from playstore and got off work at 5pm, on way home blasting music in my Ranger, got home at about 5:15, recorded a video of my wife and daughter making dinner and them browsed the forum until about 5:45 or so and then as soon as I hook the Damon thing up and turn on my comp to charge it died. That's freaking badges. Reminds me of my iPhone 3g sitting at 2% for 2hrs once while I was on the road.

Lol. That's like the opposite of my Ion being on GB. It was stuck at 100% as you see on last page(at least it dies in 5-10 minutes after being at 1%). Now it's stuck at 1% which makes it harder for me to decide whether or not to use my phone when I'm not at home.

I charged it for the first time today. I switched off data connection + WiFi, disable background data and decrease brightness to 30% but it drops from 100% to 85% for just 2 hours :-/

I saw cell standby cost me 40%, display 39, phone idle 14%. As I said I didn't start any service after full charge for the second time. Oh I used HTC CHARGER to charge my ION in this case

Since flashing ICS the battery life for me is much much better. Go through a normal day and still have about 50% left over where as before I would be at 20% or less.

Sent from my Sony Xperia™ ion.

Current Phones/Tablets:
Lumia 920 // Xperia Z // Xperia TL // Xperia ion // Xperia P // iPad 3
Accessories
Sony Smartwatch // Sony Smart Wireless Headset pro // Sony LiveDock™ // Xperia ion Smartdock

i agree. i don't have any concrete numbers, but it does seem that ics is more efficient (and possibly runs cooler?)

Agreed. My battery life is significantly better with ICS. I use a battery logger so I can see te stark differences in the graphs. I'm so happy with the battery life improvements in ICS. I was getting really annoyed with the appalling battery life in GB. I had to always carry a charge pack...
