Audio All three audio channels to mute bug?

Hi,

Has anyone had the bug where suddenly, all three audio channels are muted (the three icons have the crossed bar across them). The whistle notification still plays, and FM radio still plays, oddly, but can't play podcasts nor the audio player.

Rebooting seems to be the only way to fix.

Any ideas?

I don't recall getting that bug before installing a Time telling app (EQ STime). Will uninstall to see if that's the culprit...

As you already have guessed, usually apps are the culprit and playing around with the volumes.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure that's the culprit. But is there a way to restart the sound system without rebooting the phone? (Everytime I reboot I've to turn off wifi mode in #0011 which is annoying.)

(Killing the buggy app does not reboot the sound system obviously)

The audio server should be fine, most likely audio is only muted across the board.
Install the app 'Audio Manager ' to set the different volumes.

I do wonder, since all three volumes can be adjusted when pressing volume button, but I can't make them unmuted.

As for an Audio Manager, have you one to recommend that works great on the S3? The first few results from the play store have pretty negative reviews...
