Maybe a bad power adapter or blew a fuse. Dock need power to put in dock mode.

I got mine from Amazon recently. I modded mine (volume buttons) and got them to work correctly. The problem was my phone would shut off after being in the dock and I would have to pull the battery. I think it has something to do with it being such a tight fit.

Any way I decided to purchase a sprint gs2 dock instead. I cut down the front lip and now it fits and works great.

For the Galaxy SII dock, does the USB plug line up / fit with Galaxy Nexus without issue?

It does but there is a lip on the front of the dock where the usb input is that prevented it from fully being inserted into the phone. I had to cut the lip down to flush with the rest of the area.once I did that, the phone fit and is being charged fine. Dock mode didn't activate, but I'm not sure if that's a Rom issue or dock.I haven't tried aux out because I use Bluetooth but I can if you want.

This has yet to be answered.

Where can you purchase this that will (cheaply) ship to Canada? FYI Google Play store will NOT ship this to Canada.

Hi everyone. I have read as many posts as I could, but I don't think anyone has mentioned this problem. I could use some help.

I modded my GSM dock from the Play store so that the volume rocker works perfectly. I can adjust volume and us the power button while the phone is in the dock. The phone even shows charging while in the dock.

This is my problem. I have the phone in the dock and have plugged in a 3.5 mm audio cable into the dock and then I connect that cable to my car's audio jack. The power is plugged in as well. Now, when I play music from my phone, the music comes through my car's speaker but it skips as if the pogo pins are not in good contact w/ the phone.

I am not sure how to fix this because I cannot quite tell what is causing the pogo pins to not be in constant contact. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you!

Has anyone had their phone restart while in the car dock?
Mine sometimes does when trying to do voice input of txt or address, I still haven't confirmed the exact scenario just curious if anyone else has this issue. I'm on stock 4.1.1 btw using side load of car home.

I finally was able to get a solid connection when I inserted the pogo side in first and pressed the phone down diagonally. What was upsetting was that no matter what, as soon as I pressed the other side of the phone in, the connection would be lost. After much consideration, I decided to whip out my dremel and a sanding wheel and go to town. About an hour or so later, I shaved enough material out of the dock that I could insert the phone without any special handling and have it make solid connection with the pins.
I am having the same problem. I find that the pins do not make contact once the phone is fully inserted. I can make contact by inserting the phone diagonally (pogo side first), but as soon as I press the phone all the way in, I lose contact. I am using the extended battery. Is this a common issue among people? Is dremeling the entire inside of the dock really the only way to fix this?
