Audio Bose Soundlink

Received my Bose Soundlink today. This thing is amazing, can't believe the sound that comes out of it. Even the bass was more than I expected, especially for a little box. BT connection was no problem, hooked right up.
Kind of high dollar, but I get a lifetime warranty, so if it craps out in a few years I can always get my money back.

Would rather get the logitech wireless boombox personally.

I had that. About a month in, it stopped pairing with my phone and the volume stopped going high. I returned it.

I've got one. It is amazing. Even though that's the only thing Bose I'd own. They really did good with this.

The wireless boombox is not so good for portability. And doesn't really get any louder. Same with the new Big Jambox. Lost all portability.

Pro-tip, Crank it up on Pink Floyd's - Money. The horn parts will make your ears bleed.

LOL

You might want to read that "Warranty" document again.
You wont be getting "Your money back" after a few years.

LOL

"You" may only get what the "Warranty" doc says, but "I" can return the thing in 10yrs and get "my money back".

Agreed, and it was what I ended up going with. Here in Canadia it cost 149 for the Logitech Boombox and 325 for the Bose Soundlink. Must admit I'm extremely happy with my investment. Great to bring out on my balcony to listen to music and watch the world go by

Can you skip tracks on the Bose directly on the unit or only on the phone?

I use my portable guitar amp with aux input and it sounds great. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ampli...cube-combo-amp

Used it on camps, in park, on birthday parties etc. Never had single problem.

Volume and mute along with power only on the Bose. Any skipping of tracks needs to be done on the device.
