Every place that accepts NFC payments, will accept wallet or any other NFC payment providers.

I've only used wallet once (although not on this ROM), but the cashier asked me if it was Visa or Mastercard, and you have to tell them Mastercard. Maybe that was the issue?

If the terminal takes NFC, it takes Google Wallet - I don't see how/why they would exclude GW. On that note, I would try re-flashing and double checking that you have the latest GAPPS (I think that might help?). I use Google Wallet whenever possible and have never had issue, on the 8/6 or 8/2 builds.

Which gas stations should this work at? I live in SoCal, but I'm still wondering. Maybe Mobil's speedpass or whatever it's called? I've kept my eyes open for this, and I fill up every three days, but I still haven't seen any...

I used it & payment went through (slowly) at Meijer in Indiana.

I just used it today at BP. One thing I do every time I flash a clean ROM is to reset wallet and force it to reinitialize.

I don't think it would work at Mobil's speedpass - they have a special program that people sign up for if I remember correctly, it doesn't read NFC credit cards and therefore probably wouldn't understand what Google Wallet is. I'm pretty sure Arco (BP as mentioned above) has NFC readers. I live in NYC now, but my family is in Los Angeles, and I'm pretty sure I first used Google Wallet at Arco.

I'll have to try it again. I thought that a business would have to accept google just like they have to accept discover.

Anyone know how to remap search button? I keep hitting it and get a long stall.... annoying.
