Dude, the initial is only for flashing the actual hellybean ROM, go ask over there.

Check out the Hellybean nightlies Here and here and the Devil Kernel for ICS here and Jelly Bean here for the Galaxy S and variants.

Your reply was not only unhelpful, it discourages others from helping me. Please refrain from such behavior. I doubt that Helly Bean users would know the install characteristics of SlimBean as well as people in this thread, and it was even mentioned (by you, actually) that this method of installing was a possibility.

I just answered your question on the other thread. I have been through both ROMs. I should know. But the kernel is what you needed, not the initial.

No. Just get a HB kernel factory reset and flash the kernel. That should work for you.

Well remember the common zip after that. I always have failed in flashing the kernel. Any ideas?

Thanks you very much for the guidance! I will report back to help others seeking to do the same.

What is the issue precisely? I am allowing my phone to rebuild the cache after wipe and kernel/common install and it appears to be fine. I can't say yet whether the /datadata partition is used correctly. Did you use the kernel from this page? I used the Voodoo color, if that helps.

I only suggested flash commons after because you where looping. I figured flashing kernel messed it up. Best I can bet is full wipe flash device flash kernel reboot to recovery then flash commons. I honestly don't know did you redownload the kernel like I said before?

I wiped, did not install T959.zip, installed the kernel, common, and fix and can confirm that a /datadata partition now exists on my phone. I will report back after my apps finish installing as to whether or not he lag continues but things I'm pretty optimistic that I have things the way I want them.

Switched over from Slim Ics v4.2
Did full wipe reset format

All I can say is WOW!

Jelly Bean on the samsung vibrant! Fantastic!

I would like to add my vote to putting the screenshot option back on the long press power button menu! the 2 button combo is hard to get done right the first time...

Their are some paid apps and google apps that come up with error #942 from market[play]

Keep up the good work!
Quadrant score = 1320

So far so good!
Thanks Man!
