I had to flash SREC_VoiceDialer_Addon_GoogleNow.zip from the addons to get that and the google search bar widget to work.

Good ROM this.

I have had a lot of problems with the media scanner working for hours and draining battery. I had a LOT of topo maps on the SD card and once i wiped those it ran for a few minutes on startup only. I now have a much more restricted and focused collection of maps and the media scanner runs for about 12 minutes after startup, or disconnecting USB, and then all is well.

Have the Air #171 kernel on and battery life seems good. Governors not available in NS tools though??

Anyhow, thanks to the developer. Slim has been my daily driver since ICS version 3 and the current 2.0.1 seems pretty damn fine.

It happened to me using the no-HighBigmem version. Choosing the "normal" version of Air Kernel restored the governors in NS tools.

Fix permissions first and then try again with nstools.

Thanks for that. Did it, rebooted, and NS tools now can access governors.

I have read it all, so, is there a way to get Google backups to restore settings, wallpaper, wifi, etc.? Google backup comes in common. Wouldn't let me add an account. It is really the wifi that I need most...I need the SSID's and PW in there.
Cheers...and remember, be nice
I hate bumping my own post.

through adb -- adb shell bmgr list transports -- doesn't list * com.google.android.backup/.BackupTransportService, it only lists android/com.android.internal.backup.LocalTransport

Therefore adb cmd -- adb shell bmgr transport com.google.android.backup/.BackupTransportService doesn't work

C:\Users>adb shell bmgr list transports
android/com.android.internal.backup.LocalTransport

C:\Users>adb shell bmgr transport com.google.android.backup/.BackupTransportServ
ice
Unknown transport 'com.google.android.backup/.BackupTransportService' specified;
no changes made.

In term emulator -- su -c "LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/vendor/lib:/system/lib bmgr transport com.google.android.backup/.BackupTransportService"

Same result.

How do I add * com.google.android.backup/.BackupTransportService so I can set it through adb?

I went back to version 4.2 because it is much more stable for everyday use. jb version has problems with some applications, like games of gameloft (mine are 4) does not recognize them .... another problem, with external widgets (beautiful widgets ), it loads them when you restart the phone ... I think it's a problem with all the JB rom.

What exactly is your problem with beautiful widgets? I use the bw-weather widget and do not have any problems, or do I not see the problem?
