Default How many space needed

HI!

How many space needed on /system to 16.1? The zip file is ~190megs, IMHO the alpharev's data++'s 180M of /system is not enough.

Thanks

Stock HBOOT is recommended. However aroma installer will detect data++/cm7r2 hboots and symlink stuff across to your /data partition.

.zip file size doesn't matter, what matters is unpacked /system directory size.

Does this mean that having data++ or cm7r2 doesn't actually give you any more space for apps then?

Eeee... I read some about aroma. In that's topic write: "ROM That Already Uses AROMA Installer" and a link to here.

So, I'm download then install aroma, or somewhere is an installer with aroma?

Sorry, but i'm never use aroma.

Tx

You will get more than stock as /system has less free (wasted) space on those hboots and they also have smaller /cache partitions. You wont get the whole /data partition for apps though.

Just download and start installing the rom as normal, you don't need to do anything different. You'll know when the aroma installer kicks in

What a2sd solution did you pick? If the stock a2sd, did you use the instructions in first post to activate it?

Apologies if this has been posted before, I have been following the thread but I might have missed something. On the latest 0.16.1, running the latest Apex launcher, when I long-press on a widget to remove it, the phone locks up, displaying the message "Apex Launcher is not responding". I have to then pull the battery to reboot. Interestingly, it appears that adb is still running in the background, so it's not a kernel issue. Here is a logcat: http://pastebin.com/KraDyQ0p

The lockup occurs as the logcat warnings and errors are printed by E/Adreno200-ES20, so I'm guessing it might be something to do with the hardware acceleration?

My setup:
0.16.1 Custom installation
Stock Kernel
Motorola Launcher (installed Apex afterwards)
INT2SD
Everything else stock except for aGPS fix

Edit: I see the problem has been reported already with the Adreno libs. I think the crash bug is from the latest Apex launcher, which has an ANR - trying out Nova launcher which is running without complaint.
Softbank HTC Desire - VJ CM10.1 JB 4.2.2 v6.2 Stock
Class 10 32GB Samsung microSDHC
Custom Mms.apk with custom UserAgent and emoji support for use on Softbank's network

If my post has helped you, please click thanks.
