Question Damaged Touch screen

I just dropped my phone in butter screen side down
Some parts of the screen get automatically touched
The screen does not respond several times
did a hard reset and flashed a stock rom to make sure that it was a hardware problem
Unfortunately did not have my screen protector.
So any suggestions
can the touch screen be replaced??

As IKnowIRock said, you can replace the touch screen, but carefully.
