Default TI WLAN Drivers

For devs, take a look at this. I found this link in an email HTC had sent me after I sent them an email regarding the drivers, seems this one I didn't look. So this is some sort of guide, I don't know if its been posted here before lol.

one problem would be those drivers aren't targeted for ICS, so maybe hard play with

second, I remember seeing a post that HTC hacked around the original TI WLAN drivers to make it work on the Amaze 4G, so if those are the original TI WLAN drivers, it won't work out of the box... i'm trying to search for that post

EDIT this post says we need WL1283 drivers, not WL1271 that OP posted

there are wl1283 source codes, maybe firmware/kernel source codes available, but might be modified by HTC
