If it happens 'often' at multiple forums, then that should tell you something. Too sensitive maybe. FYI - on this forum, if someone posts, they are most likely trying to help you. Don't read into it, most of us are guys, not females, so there's no hidden meaning. Take comments objectively, at face value.

To ultimately clarify, here's a screenshot (click to enlarge) along with some translation below (for anyone else who may be confused by this):

First you look on the left, and find your version (4.0.3, 4.0.4, 4.1, etc.), then you look over to the right of that line to see if there is a stock image available or not (this is just to let you know whether or not the toolkit has a source stock image to use for your given select, should you want to revert back to stock from whatever state you are in). If you see the text "[ NO GOOGLE FACTORY IMAGE AVAILABLE ]" then that means there is not a stock ROM available for that version of Android.

For example if you are running 4.1 JB at this point, then it's 100% guaranteed to be a custom (unofficial/non-stock) ROM.

!CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE GALAXY NEXUS TOOLKIT V7.8! (MODS SECTION V3.0 INCLUDED)

MIRROR FOR V7.8 [MediaFire] PLEASE ONLY USE IF MAIN LINK DOESNT WORK!

NOTE: As the ToolKit.exe and ModsSection.exe files aren't Digitally Signed with a Microsoft Certificate they 'may' get picked up as potentially harmful by Antivirus Programs and deleted on first run. If this happens restore the file and exclude it from future scans to use it.
There is no virus in the ToolKit its just giving a false positive because the exe isnt digitally signed.

If you find that the OP is too hard to follow then you might need to get an iPhone.

I was trying to restore to stock, and the Google Stock Images are not downloading at the moment. So it got me thinking and I came up with a question.

When I originally ran the Toolkit, I made a backup of my rom immediately after the toolkit completed before flashing something new. If I restore this backup, flash a stock recovery, and then relock the bootloader, will my phone be back to stock for a warranty replacement?

Or is it imperative that I download and flash the stock Google rom for a warranty replacement.

If I could just flash the stock recovery and relock the bootloader I would be happy. I haven't changed the radios or the bootloader.
