Hi bro!! I'm using xperia Sola with the same problem. Display takes up to 60% of battery usage.
Still trying to find a way to fix it but no luck! Different ROM, kernel,... If you have fix ur problem, please tell me how it works

Default best baseband...

With this baseband .64 i reach the best configuration for my devices;

xperia neo v mt11i;
bootloader unlocked;
kernel knightelf 1.4;
governor smartassv2 - scheduler noop;
baseband .64;
custom rom JJ Hybrid 3.2 stable;
brightness of screen is about 35%.

battery usage is about "2%" at hour in idle

baseband .70 and .72 are hungry of energy

Thanks for All

New bb 77 is great. 21% drained in over 6 hours with some gaming and data usage. It catches the signal very well too. I also use the new kernel from .587 fw so maybe it helps too.

JJ's Hybrid 3.3b
