I kinda got impatient and bought the one I wanted before actually sending the other for a refund, it's currently sitting on my counter waiting for me to tale it to UPS to send back

I just walked into my local electronic store and bought an adapter. It said OTG and it works fine. I'm on the island of Abu Dhabi, UAE - so that's cool.

Sandisk USB drives work fine and plug in some random mouse and it works - let me go test my 1terrabyte drive. Yep, I've got a terrabyte of storage now - lol. Movies play direct from it. Western Digital.

My case has a nice place to fold back and hold the USB drive while its playing. So it like 32 GB of storage. Or as large a flash drive I can pay for.

I plugged in a regular PC mouse and that works. The keyboard works too! It feels so good to type like this. Yeah I just plugged in some random huge bulky keyboard and even though the indicator lights on the keyboard aren't on, it's typing fine.

My next GOAL is to print and get video out (either dongle or wirelessly).

Could anyone recommend a cheap USB hub that will work? I'm looking for a self powered one but I don't really know what I'm looking for thanks

Angry Ordered one from Newegg...

Will post about it when it is here in a few days.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...0S8-0013-003N9

It looks similar to another one in the thread labeled "X5"...no idea what the difference between X5 and X2 are.

Ordered from Newegg because I like them, and because they are like 2 hours away, so odds are it ends up getting here in 1 day

For any ebay users, this one works:

I particularly like it because it's not a L-shaped plug.

Anyone else tried to access file storage on their Android phone via OTG? I found that if you set the USB connection on your pjhone to disk drive, it works perfectly.

I could access photo storage on my old iPhone as well but not files.

I'm using some cheap generic one that was advertised as being for the galaxy s2. It works on my nexus 7 and also on my galaxy s3.
