JELLYBEAN LOOKS (mixed with ICS) for GT-S5360

This is a thread to show you How to transform Galaxy Y to JellyBean (in looks)


In this guide you will customize/change :

• Rom
• Homescreen
• Lockscreen
• Few Stock Apps
• Status Bar
• JB Keyboard
• WallPaper

Rom:


The best ROM I would recommend to get ICS like look is Creeds Rom 3.5 with ICS Transparent theme

Creeds Rom : Go here (Thanks to Pratyush.Creed)
ICS Transparent Theme : Go here (Thanks to Deepakjosh)

This rom also gives you ICS like settings also


Next is the homescreen:


There are many homescreen launchers like GoLauncher Ex, ADW, Launcher Pro but you also need to download ICS/JB themes for them.
The best launcher made specially for ICS like looks is Holo Launcher. You can download Holo Launcher by Mobint from the Play Store. The link is here
You can also customize it according to your needs.To get transparent app drawer, go to Launcher Settings>Drawer Settings>Background Transparency and set the value above 50 or 60...

In ICS transparent theme itself, the Holo Launcher will be available.
There is also a plus version called the Holo Launcher Plus which allows you to add more transitions and gestures.

We don't need to worry about icons because Holo Launcher has its own ICS Icon Pack.
If you are satisfied with the Holo Launcher Iconpack, You can download any other icon pack and use it in Holo Launcher.


And then the LockScreen


In the Creed Rom 3.5 itself, there are many lockscreens. But if you want Jellybean lockscreen, there is a app by Mobint called the Holo Locker. You can get it from the PlayStore.(click here)
Now you will get JB lockcreen in your device.

Now we got the Homscreen and Lockscreen


Apps Modded like ICS and JB Recent Apps list/Task Switcher


A thread by Agmtpd ( xda member) show you how to install those. (Thanks to him)
The thread is ICS Themed stock apps
After installing them, you will get ICS like stock apps.

The same member Agmtpd also created a thread in ICS or JB like Recent Apps List/Task Switcher.
Go here for that thread.
Creeds Rom (and many other) users can directly download the zip file and flash it.


Status Bar


XDA member who created ICS trans theme only created this JB status bar. You can go to this thread and download the flashable zip file according to your wish (opaque or transparent).

JellyBean Keyboard

A free app called Jelly Bean Keyboard by VLLWP is available at the Play Store. You can download it by going here (PlayStore link)




At last, the Wallpapers


A developer kovdev has created an app for JB wallpapers. You can download it from the Playstore. (I am unable to attach files due to some problem)

And now you have completed and enjoy your JellBean (mixed with ICS!) experience...
