Any kernel which supports custom bootanimation is okay..in your case, notecore supports bootanimation, so it will work.

Question 1 : Flash the zip file named galaxy note bios using recovery. http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...8&d=1335445587
Then flash this http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...7&d=1337446206

Question 2 : I saw a thread out there that would link you to a stock samsung bootanimation.. I cant be bothered to look for it since my internet is somewhat acting up but I know its out there.

Now my question is :

I tried editing the frames/pics from the "Galaxy note bios" zip file.. Kept the resolution the same, file format the same, number of total frames the same... I did not add or remove any frames from the whole zip. I just added some custom text on those frames in hope that it would show up on my bootup.. But when I added it back on the zip file and flashed it on recovery (yes, no problems encountered) the bootanimation wont play at all! (just blank screen and the power on sound plays)

Any ideas? I notice that the original frames from the original zip are not exceeding 100kb each but mine are reaching 119kb.. can it be a file size problem? or the picture is now very complex that it cant be played upon boot up? or is there anything to edit on the other files in the zip?

Your ideas would be helful!

Thanks for the great Boot Animation. BTW, Two things which I feel updating here are,
1. The name Google Inc is put as goolge inc during the initial boot screen load.
2. It would be really great if the animation don't repeat itself and once played it should be just wait until the phone boots up.
updating these items above would really make the animation much interesting & funnier

While making a zip file change the conversion type to "store" . And also check the desc file. Sorry for not updating boot animation because I have to edit each frame that takes some time.... Between I am concentrating on my studies and I have to be away from android works !!
