i have seen with my works in progress, that jellybean and htc roms use different services and those needs to be included in the bootmeny/bootrecovery script to stop and cleanup what ever service started originally. so when/if someone makes a different rom, remember to update the bootmenu scripts, which i guess you know how to change if you do customroms.

Still now I am not able to CWM my phone...I am so sad....

tried 4 times but getting stuck on bootloop.... I am following each and every steps but dont know why I am not getting success....

if you are unable to complete the root process , that might be a reason, if superuser or su is not installed correctly.
- do you get prompted to grant superuser access to the install recovery process?
- do you see "su access granted" when pressing reboot recovery button?

last solution if you wish, try to flash a clean install, go for root right away. When root is ready install the app as explained.
if that all fails , i am not sure what/where it goes wrong.

i have recovered my mobile 5-6 times during my testing, and installed/flash recovery app several to recover backup. not seen any issue here.

I recently installed CWM v5.8.4.0 based on LG-Optimus-4XHD-Recovery-v1.0. Should I need to uninstall the old one in order to install the latest CWM v6.0.1.1, or update for CWM v6.0.1.1 is available somewhere?? Thanks!v

install/upgrade the existing app which should be possible with my apk, and then press install recovery once again, as no detection takes place, its very manually done.

so do i. i got no time atm, for also spending time on my jb/one mixes, which hardly works anyways, so i hope other start making new roms or we get the cm10 release the preview showed, or maybe was as good as my early less working release due to all the security.

Hi Dexter,

Finally i got it to worked out, but now i I try to backup with your CWM it starts backing up to internal storage but suddenly after few seconds it stops & goes back to the main window where it shows " Reboot ....."
Could you pls guide me that where I am Going wrong....

post #1 should clearly indicate internal backups do not work, you should be successful if you select backup to external storage, as mentioned in post #1
