What the heck happened, and how can I get my XDA FB app working again?? Any ideas or fixes? Internal login produces an error any time tried, and the internal browser one doesn't work.
+1
None of the methods work for me.
External Web -> "Invalid URL String. Please try and copy again."
I checked and there is no "#" at the end of the string; however, my FB is set up to always redirect to https, not sure if that's a problem. I tried removing the "s" but still no luck.
Internal -> "An error has occurred and was logged. Please review and submit the file stored at: ... to the dev team. Thanks you!"
Internal Web -> The web page is seriously misshaped but usable. I am able to login after which the browser window closes and nothing else happens (e.g. the app is still on the login screen).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

in facebook (on web browser) try to disable secure navigation. after this in xda facebook connect by external browser (it's the only that works). For me work and is not necessary remove the "s" because it does't appear no more. Once you connect one time in xda facebook may activate navigation again.

Hope this help.

If you mean, how i do that is how to diasble secure navigation on facebook is:

- Enter in your facebook in the PC
- In right upper corner (HOME) choose "Account Settings"
- Then in the left choose "Security"
- In middle click edit in the line "secure browsing" and the line will expand unselect "Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) when possible" and do "Save changes"
- Log out facebook
- Enter on xdafacebook (on you PDA device) and log in with option "External Web" and do what you do usually to connect.
- After you successfully log in xdafacebook you may return to facebook on PC and undo (if you wont) what have done before

Note: In xdafacebook when you get out of the program do exit because if you log out, you need to do everything again when try to log in again.

I hope this expalin help if is this what you want, if not explain better what you want.

Smile Official Facebook application.

I've installed the "Facebook for everyone" java application (by Facebook) and all is perfect now! It's here : http://www.facebook.com/d.facebook.com/install (with your mobile browser only, doesn't work on a computer).
