thx for testing ... in the past we also had problems with the "cortexbrain-background-process" & auto edit CPU-settings while screen on/off ... so maybe we restored to much :P -> https://github.com/voku/initramfs3/b...xbrain-tune.sh

Im using The same rom and kernel as you, roms included radio, and even when i dont make any calls, i just use facebook or whatsapp, but i cant get 2 days of battery even with low brightness.

Very little screentime these days. I know I'm now fully utilizing the phones potential but I use it mainly as a phone.. in 2 days I only have around 1 hour screentime

Hi Voku,
I have been running this preview kernel now for almost 7 hours without any problems.
Default profile, only set smooth scaling to 1200, cortexbrain enabled as per default.
Everything is working data, BT, wifi, GPS etc. With al the earlier version I needed to set min. suspend and standby frequency's to 200MHz otherwise I had a Sod within the hour. With the test kernel both frequency's are set to 100MHz and no problems.

No thanks I love to be always online, I even use easy battery saver to sync on mobile data "only" every 15min! I'm a battery freaks, when the battery doesn't impact functionality!

EDIT: On HYPER and 6 freq steps i have a really big drop in performance, anyone can confirm this? Thanks
EDIT2: On conservative and 6 steps no problem!

I have an idea why more people are suffering from freezes and sod's with kernels later than 5.65.

Before installing Voku's test kernel I was testing ExTweaks setting because I was also suffering from sod's
I noticed that after setting the scaling_min_standby_freq to 200000kHz and keeping scaling_min_suspend_freq at 100000kHz my phone was stable.
I then had a look in CPU Spy and noticed that with that setting the 100MHz was hardly used, it stood in the list as used frequency but with 0% utilisation.

If you look in de change log you will see that Dori changed the default scaling_min_standby_freq to 100000kHz starting 5.66.

Coincident ?????

i´ve noticed 2 problems, on my RR with .67. When i set the max speed to 600mhz for example, with hyper (i havent tried with other gov) it jumps to 700mhz every time i use the screen. And when i try to use 5 steps, also with hyper and default settings other than 200-1000mhz, it stays on 200mhz and doesnt go any further.

first rule!!! -> don't change any settings if you don't know what causes it ... or test it (I do it as well ) but then please don't report nonexistent bugs ...

Please take time to read the brief description of all settings available. Force wifi doesn't turn you offline :/
