I'm starting to wonder if there is something up with the internal storage.

I downloaded the zip, extracted it to confirm no corrupt download. Copied the zip to the phone, install fails. Tried extracting the zip on the phone storage, works. Confused.....Tried copying the zip over to the phone again, install, fails.

It could be a problem with the update zip.

Are you using TWRP? Try mounting data and deleting the "/data/data/com.android.providers.media" folder using the TWRP file manager.

If you have adb shell access, use:

adb shell rm -r /data/data/com.android.providers.media

Try backing up your data partition and reflashing the ROM with the data wipe option selected. If it still doesn't work, we can rule it out.

right after flashing 1.4 did you flash 1.4.1?

Wow, I gotta say I'm glad I decided to give this Rom another try... Battery life is just outrageously good!! Also I'm not having anymore data problems, in fact, before flashing the Rom I had flashed the 2.29 radio and ril and so far its working great!! I even think data is faster than before!! Super awesome job with this Rom turge!! I'll be rockin this one for a while!

I have a couple of questions for the AT&T guys:

1. Do you select the AT&T signal icons when installing the ROM?
2. If so, do you only do it for the signal icons or are there other AT&T personalizations you're looking for on top of the signal icons?
3. If not, do you have any problems tethering?
