difference are you are reading from the original source, when you read this. the other one is a copy of my v1.0 edition, thats fine.. news has to be travelling somehow, even if its not news anymore.

you can only reboot into recovery from the app. there is no hardware key support in 4x, since we got no custom kernel bootup.

Lightbulb V1.2 update online

I found some minor issues in v1.1 with unmount /system as the shell was running from it.
i also found some services which in v10f rom i use now, was not stopped when clockworkmod started, which again could cause issues when its recoverying a backup.

it looks alot better now when booting into recovery.
- no mounted filesystems
- and no services not stopped
which is the ideal startup.

If you do happen to see any filesystem not unmounted, and you got a service still running with v1.2, please report it back.
as local versions of the stock firmware might have services running which i do not know of. (which basically can mean my recovery is incompatible.

Lightbulb Resolve slow media scanning

Recommended backup type is TAR

If you frequently backup your data with 6.0.1.1 and you use blob backup types, you will see your media scanning slowing down dramatically after bootup.

it is recommended to change backup type to TAR and continue with this version, which also will be compatible with old clockworkmod.

it is probably not something that ever is going to be fixed (not even the .nomedia helps it seems)
since the function is to use all the small files, which the mediascanner looks at.

you do not actually use the boot.img, but just the ramdisk, and tar it as boot.tar and copy the boot.tar /system/bootmenu

and reboot and it is be active.
