the fit on the front is superb, and the rear is nice too. the way they machined it, it seems to have a slight gap in the corners of the back, but i tried to slide some feeler gauges in there and couldn't fit anything past a mm or 2, so i think it is an illusion.

Anyway, PlayYourPosition, I am not sure i would dremel it. as there is not a lot of metal around the hole. at the outmost edge it is less than 1mm. I would think maybe trim the headphone plug down a little. but that is me. (remember: anywhere you trim the metal, you loose the color.)

I agree this is probably one of the best cases I've seen so far. I like the bare / plastic middle portion with a solid outer frame like machined metal it has a nice solid feel and the thickness remains pretty slim. the width in my palm feels great also it's the perfect size where it's a tad big for my palm but not uncomfortable to wrap my fingers around it damn that sounds mad gay lol

anyways, as per headphone jack, i think I'm going to go down the route of ordering new AUX cables with not so bulky connectors. if i dremel or alter the machined metal theres a chance of cracking or destroying it. i'll work with it for now just i have no audio in my car but i guess i'll just have to deal shouldn't too difficult to find new cables.

I'm looking at upgrading my screen protector now, maybe go full body to add some protection to the backing, anyone recommend any good protectors? I'm running phantom skinz matte front but i need a good all around body anyone?

As I had thought, the case did not fit the white S3 either. Going to call handhelditems today and begin negotiations lol.

You should. mine fits perfect, and it is self centering, you could say. you cannot put it in wrong. you must have an out of spec build.

Have an RMA # but I do not have original packaging anymore... So this is going to be FUN!

I'd really like to order one of these cases but now I'm a bit skeptical with the luck some have had through HHI.

Thinking about getting Thunder Red or Thunder Blue. It's available both places, but it's $68 through Draco and $52 through HHI.

I LOVE MINE.

it makes the phone feel solid, like it should. and keeps it Oh so thin.

plus, mine is all scratched up now:
I dropped the phone. it fell from my breast pocket, when i bent down to pick up a rock and wedge it in a door, to keep it from closing. it dropped about 3 feet, corner first, then immediately face down, and skittered across the concrete. now there are little silver spots of the case (2 of them) but the screen is good to go (i did have a screen protector though). It saved my phone and took the hit like a champ.
