Question How to get Co0kie HomeTab and CHTEditor installed when making a new rom in osKitchen?

I use this converter: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=525302

ok, so i did this :
"Output EXT" C:\CAB_Converter\Converted_EXT
Open the project i have in osKitchen, press "Import" and "Import a new EXT Package"
In the new windows i have it like default, Source = "Windows Mobile or OEM Package.
I add first Co0kie Home Tab v2.0.0 and change destination to "HTC Leo" and group to "HTC Leo Packages" and name Co0kie Home Tab
And i did same with CHTEditor v2.0.0!
After that i go to EXT Packages check the left box before the file's and then press "Start Building"...
Then i flash that rom!
When i go on my phone, it's not installed...
To install it i have to go to program named Search Phone, search for HomeTab , press it, and install on device...
WHY DO I HAVE TO INSTALL IF AFTER FLASHING IT!?!!
Other rom's have it allready installed, so they can start using it without installing it themself!
EDIT: Tryed the same with Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.8.5 and CHTEditor.v1.8.5.1... The same thing happend!

well, from ten mins refreshing myself as to how exts work, simply creating teh ext and dropping it in to the required folder in teh kitchen, then activating it within teh kitchen (if necessary, ervius did that for me) should be enough.

CHT specifically, though, is a little more complicated, i seem to remember fighting for a few nights to get CHT2.0 working. first off, you have thoroughly read the cht2 thread, right? it mentions cooking, for instance

About ROM cooking:
Don't cook in the file "ManilaFull.xml". Originally it's a manila cache file that's generated on start up (based on the xml files in \windows\manilaxml\).
This file should never be cooked in because it will prevent changes to manila pages and menus.
The "ManilaFull.xml" in the cab is an empty file. It's only there to make manila regenerate it after install, because I've made changes to the home menu.
So make sure not to cook in that file in any form.

Don't cook in the CHT lockscreen as on by default. If you do that, users won't be able to turn it off!

If you're cooking a WM6.5.x ROM, you should set the reg value of CHTI.WinMo6.5.x to 1. The cab's setup.dll would do that normally.
If you're cooking in a specific configuration all the CHT.* values need to be cooked in an as well as the HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\CHT values that hold layout information.
and then theres this,,
