Selecting only light sensor almost nearly unable to work. With default mode, everything works fine. However, noticed the proximity indicator is always on (light red). Turned to low and the indicator is still there albeit not so bright. Will there be any effect on the sensor in the long run when it is running continuosly with the indicator on?
No they can be used interchangeably, and settings can get tricky, but lot of people have managed to get it to work.... try the new version, added some tweaks to light sensor.

I dont think keeping sensors on will impact the life in anyway... however I cant guarantee that

You can explore the battery saving options, with those you can disable sensors after a timeout or when you press the power button...

By the way, if the function to " enable screen on in the incoming call screen" (not disabling your app during call, just the incoming call screen ) can be added would be highly appreciated.

App keeps the screen on during call unless you disable it in settings. If you want app to run only during the call, you can select enable in call only

Also let me know the version of app you are using, Thanks.
I was using the latest Market version. I was using stock settings at first with no results at all. Then after changing the advanced setting for the sensor sensitivity it would work but only if the sensor was uncovered then covered. Not if it was covered already to keep the screen off.

Sorry, the data drop seemed to be kernel related, reverted back to older one and it's fine now. Thx for updating the app.

I'm testing this out on a Transformer Infinity, and I can only get it to work with the light sensor. How can I get it to turn the screen back on? I want it to work like a smart cover, where covering the screen will turn it off, and uncovering will turn it on. Can this be done?
