Ipaq rx1950 boot problem, probably rom

guys a friend of mine has lost his usb cable for his 1950 and we want to flash it with an english rom. do you know how to make it only using the sd card.
i unpacked the exe file from the hp site and it produced 2 .nbf files , i put them on the sdcard but when i enter bootloader it says wrong image file.
any help?

Finally, I fixed this problem.

I also got that problem few days ago. My rx1950 was in CHT rom. I got another rx1950 in english rom. I extracted a rom image from the health rx1950 in a 1 G SD card.Put the SD card into the bad one under bootloader mode. It became to reflash. Unfortunately, it stopped in the midway. I tried many times in these days. It still didnot work.
Today, I cloned the image file to another SD card (2G) with WinHex.
Put it into the bad rx1950. pressed the contacts and mail button, than reset the machine. It went to the bootloader mode. It began to reflash to the end and reseted itself. The problem was fixed. But It is in English rom.

I've FR rom on my iPaq rx1950.
Till now I know that is very hard to change the main language (i want to have EN)
I've downloaded the EN *.img from link in post above.
For first after cloning from sector "0" device said "Wrong image !!!" - used WinHEX o/c.
Then i've set the first sector to: 100000 and it said only "Cheking image file" and that's it
Any ideas, advices?! Maby different sector to start with when cloning img > SD??

I downloaded that file and used WinHex to clone the img to a 2G SD card from sector "0" without any problem.
Maybe, you can try another SD card (>128mb), or Edit -->Fill Disk sectors with 00 befor cloning the image file.

There is no problem to change the main language in this method.

Q:
Did your WinHex display the msg "permition denied" (SD) after succefull cloning the image using secrtor "0" as start one?

And what kind of FS you have your SD format? FAT or FAT32!?
Is there any difference?

WinHex isn't overwriting ALL area of sectors? inc. FileSystem?!
