This is awesome, thanks! The cover fits after gluing all that extra stuff without a problem, right? And how fast is the wireless charging?
From what I gather, there is a bulge. The OP will be able to answer better though.

yeah, I second this question.. is there a bulge? is the wireless charging the same as wired charging speed?

So you confirm no issues with the back cover fitting and staying on and it's not popping off? there is not much room in there, so just want to make sure that now in real world usage, your not noticing the cover coming off or any issues related to that?
cool.. I am sold
BTW, where did you get a glossy chrome cover? VZW only had blue and white, where did that that chrome cover come from?
It's just the stock blue cover, which is pretty shiny. Artifact of photograph.

Looks like he just stuck the whole back cover from the Palm into the S3 back cover. Seems simpler.

waiting for my parts...
so, when you do this, do you get that pop-up wireless charging notification? does it stay on until clicked? what is it's purpose?
Also.. I see this mod charges the phone at USB rate, not the AC rate (power plug).
The pop-up comes up, stays for maybe 3 seconds, then goes away. I like it, since I know the phone is correctly aligned, and everything is working.
How firmly does this hold the phone in place? Would it stay hold in place on a bumpy car ride?

I am considering doing this but with a twist. I would put the coil between the otterbox rubber and hard plastic and put the wires though a hole in the battery door. I would probably have to cut or thin out the rubber so it would fit flush, but I am confident it could go through the fairly thin otterbox plastic.
