Do I have to wipe data and everything if I'm coming from root box 2.2 or is it enough to just wipe cache and dalvik cache?
Also, what does it mean if a kernel has no modem? Don't you need a modem.
Finaly will I need to reflash gapps too?
Thanks for the help.

It is recommended to do a full wipe, but you can just wipe cache and dalvik cache. As for your other question, when you flash it will keep the modem you already have. Or flash a new modem after flashing the ROM. And yes you need to reflash gapps whenever you flash an AOSP ROM(less it being built-in).

According to the changelog it looks like they still have not addressed the problem where the camera cannot save to SD card...that's disappointing.

How is that disappointing.. every member in the AOKP team has a life and they can't just implement all the features in a small amount of time. Lot of things have been implemented since build 1 and you should be happy that you got all the features back in Rom Control and even a few new ones.. Give it some time and itll be implemented or use another camera from the Play Store if you really need to save it in external memory.

I know they have a life and respect what they're doing. Please don't take my post out of context. I'm also very grateful that we have the Rom and options that we do. I also know that this is a work in progress and things are constantly being worked on. That being said, it can also still be disappointing when you find out that something has not yet been implemented.

For those that also want to save to external memory, Camera JB+ (non-free) works well but does not have burst shots.

The reason you can't be disappointed(or at least shouldn't express that here) is because the AOKP Team does this for free, and we should just be grateful that there are as many great developers as there are, especially AOKP. I didn't even dream of them adding as many features al they did to Build 2, and like Bajee said, new features too, not just brought back from ICS.

Solution: Plus, what you are saying is such a minor thing, how bout this: every week transfer your photos from your internal SD to the external SD till that feature is implimented to AOKP.

I hope you enjoy the ROM.
