Default [Q] AOKP JellyBean PC connection

Hey XDA forums,
Ive been looking around for some information but I could not find anything so I decided to make my own thread. So I'm on the AT&T galaxy S2 (obviously) and I'm running the latest AOKP Jellybean ROM, build 9.12.2012. The problem I'm having is, when I connect my phone to my computer via the usb cable, I can't turn on usb storage or anything to let me access the files in my phone. I was able to do this on AOKP's ICS rom. Whenever I plugged the phone in, something would automatically popup on the phone and it would allow me to turn on USB storage. Now I don't get that. Does anyone have any info on this? Please let me know, thank you!

I don't think i'm running the fluxi kernel with the AOKP JB rom. On the AOKP JB i777 thread, on the changelog, it says for the 9.11.2012 build that it has an updated CM kernel, and thats what it says on the kernel in about phone for me.
