Default [TOOL] EFS Pro - Advanced '/efs' Backup, Restore, Repair!

I created a tool a while back for Galaxy S II owners to backup and restore the '/efs' partition and perform basic NV Repair on their devices.

This proved so popular that I recently updated the application which now includes a feature to automatically detect the mount point of the '/efs' partition. This allows any supported device to be used with EFS Pro and also adds support for future devices.

Check out the link below for more info and download:

I actually spot your program a few days back in the GSII forum, the EFS file seems small, should not be a problem right?

Not working with my Nexus. It gives the error operation failed at the time of detecting the EFS partition on the phone.

Running AOKP M5 and the phone is GSM

Guys,

for those of you having issues with the app, just do it yourself. It's not like it's complicated:

su
dd if=/dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.0/by-name/efs of=/sdcard/efs.img

Done. The file will be called efs.img in /sdcard.
I do NOT answer technical questions via PM. Post in a thread.

Device: Nexus 4
ROM: Stock JDQ39
Kernel: Stock 3.4.0
Recovery: CWM 6.0.2.0 NON-touch
Radio: 2.0.1700.33
Bootoader: Z10o
How-To’s: 1) Basics, 2) Flash stock, 3) List of OTA updates, 4) Root, 5) Recover deleted files

EFS Pro has now been updated to v1.8.3.

Nexus S / Galaxy Nexus support has now been fixed hopefully.

Differences in the 'efs' location, name and partition layout was causing issues.

Please test this new version and post your feedback please as I dont have a physical device to test on.

This method is flawless on the VZW Gnex.
