First I want to come back to completely stock settings.
So stock modem and stock RIL files from stock XWLPX ROM.
Maybe Samsung devs have put matching modem and RIL files together in their stock ROM?!
When I think that my system behaves "normal" again, I will continue my tests.
Phone: SGS2 (GT-I9100)
ROM: XWLSS NeatROM Lite v4.7 (PDA: XWLSS / PHONE: XXMS2 / CSC: OXFLS3)
Kernel: PhilZ-touch v5.03.0

As I see in your signature, you are in Germany with O2, so LPX is for nordic operators and not for your operator, so I think you should modify ril+modem in version 4.0.4

Stock XWLPX ROM has XXLQ6 modem.
And it works fine here ... no issues on XWLPT and XWLPX ROM.
But if I recognize modem/RIL issues, I will try another moden/RIL.

Maybe I have to do a second battery cycle after finishing the mixed usage battery test.
Pre-Rooted XWLPX:

Its battery life in night use is slightly better than for stock XWLPX ROM on furst run.

XWLPX (Pre-Rooted): Battery loss of 0,84% per hour, Awake: 5,8%, Deep sleep: 94%

So I might be back on my stable base ROM.
Let's check the mixed usage battery life, and then I can redo my tests for Phenomenal.

Pre-Rooted XWLPX:

Its battery life in mixed usage is worse.

XWLPX (Pre-Rooted): Battery loss of 1,96% per hour, Wifi: 100%, Awake: 17,9%, Deep sleep: 82%, Screen: 10,5% => loss*(1-screen): 1,75%

Ah ... after Samsung Apps update there the update notification and Samsugn Push was enabled.
I have disabeld these options again and ... re-do the tests for Phenomenal 6.1 Extreme on XWLPX.
Maybe this was the reason for the worse battery life in mixed usage, and not the modem/RIL files.

Could also be a "normal" variation, but I will check its battery life in mixed usage before judging.
Phenomenal 6.1 Extreme:

Its battery life in night use is very good with completely stock modem (XXLQ6) and RIL files.

Phenomenal 6.1 Extreme: Battery loss of 0,72% per hour, Awake: 5,9%, Deep sleep: 94%

Only on XWLPT ROM, Phenomenal 6.1 Extreme had a little bit better battery life in night use.
Now I am curious about its battery life in mixed usage ... in my re-test.

Ohh ... you hit me ... and it hurts
No, unfortunately I don't have a SGS3 ... my financial manager has rejected my request for it

So I will have to stay on the (still excellent working ) SGS2.

Phenomenal 6.1 Extreme:

Slightly worse batetry life in mixed usage.

Phenomenal 6.1 Extreme: Battery loss of 1,63% per hour, Wifi: 100%, Awake: 16,8%, Deep sleep: 83%, Screen: 9,8% => loss*(1-screen): 1,47%

Nearly the same battery life as CF-Root on XWLPX. Hmm ... maybe XWLPX does not like to be extremely undervolted?!
Will try something else and report back.
