That's very true but not really sure about compare to a cam with 14 mp

There's a lot more to picture quality than megapixels, such as quality of the optics, processing software, etc. Megapixels only matter if you are blowing up the photos, making large size prints, etc. MP have become a meaningless measure that people chase for no reason, and companies use as a marketing gimmick.
