How can I take backup of my ROM ?

I think I made backup of my ROM

I installed the Cert_SPCS.cabhttp://rapidshare.com/files/168320205/Cert_SPCS.cab and the EnableRapi.cabhttp://rapidshare.com/files/168320271/EnableRapi.cab.
Using dump_gene_os_extrom.ziphttp://rapidshare.com/files/16831870..._os_extrom.zip, and I had two files:

extrom.nb 10.0 MB (10,485,760 bytes) http://rapidshare.com/files/168324058/extrom.nb
os.nb 57.8 MB (60,641,280 bytes)http://rapidshare.com/files/168331185/os.nb

you're right. you did the backup. You need only these 2 files.

How do I put them in my unit?

you need a program called htcrt to join these 2 files in a NBH file
then just put the generated file in the romupdateutility folder and run the romupdateutility.exe

OK, I made the backup as told on the topic, and I have the same 2 files. I used the HTCRT utility, joined the 2 files. But when I try to restore them on the phone via RomUpdateUtility it flashes until 2% and it says my file is corrupt. Any suggestions?

SOLVED - NEEDED TO UNLOCK THE SPL - THEN FLASH COMPLETED! SORRY FOR THE IMPATIENCE!

Hi... I don't understand the topic.. Is for flash the P3401 or for only re-flash with the same OS ? - I want to flash this with WM6 but I scared for the possible damage to my mobile.. Locking for a ROM I find the file RUU_Gene_HTC_RUS_1.7.411.0_1.7.411.101_4.1.13.31_0 2.71.90_Ship from Russia and for the P3400... This works with my P3401??
