I bought a generic one for cheap that was supposed to be 5000mah, and when I took it apart it was two batteries with their labels scratched off wired together. The serials were engraved so I looked them up, and it was actually two 1800mah batteries, so only 3600..and the inside batteries were obviously previously used. my tests showed them at under 3,000mah total. I then bought the Mugen, and it just looks too well put together to want to risk taking it apart, but when I finally retire the Note, I will take the battery apart and find out exactly whats in there. Based on the run times I'm getting, and 3 full cycle tests...I believe it's over 4,000 for sure and maybe close to 5,000. I ran 3 tests on it. Got 3,700 the first time (hadn't initialized it yet)...then ran a few full cycles in my phone and got 4,780mah the 2nd test, and then 4,460 on the third. Then I put in in my phone and just enjoyed using the longer time, and decided to stop obsessing about whether it was really 5400mah or not. It's by far the most legit extended battery I've purchased. All the others I eventually took apart and found 'used' batteries that do NOT add up to the claimed Mah.
