I too am looking for a case that can be used with the tablet by itself or with the dock (both opened and closed).

Does anyone have any experience with this case?

Which is the slimmest case available which allows the device to be propped up?
I have the Poetic case but it's buly, heavy and isn't that sung a fit on the device IMO.
Ideally I wanted one like 1st gen ipad case.

Cheers

I'm using the above for my Infinty.
The folio covers the tablet and is very thin.
Had this on my Iconia tab it props the tablet up in landscape only.
I like how it fits and it's not leather.

What about the cut outs? You do them yourself?

Cutouts?
Mmmm...I didn't do anything to the folio.
The tablet just sticks to the case then the flaps fold around the tab.
The sides are open.

I mostly hold the tablet in portrait and seldom use the stand.
Just kept the cover because I bought it locally and was too lazy to return.
It just happened to fit this TF700 so I kept it.

Too bad the transformers have that plug on the bottom, makes using any case difficult if one needs to be plugged in.

If not then I guess I would be looking for a cover for the pad that would still allow a non covered dock to mate up.
This isn't a two case system, but it does fit either the tablet or the dock or both. (I've noticed the Etsy site is best viewed in desktop mode on our tablets.)

I generally use it with the keyboard attached as shown in the second photo and rarely remove the cover, but it does fit and work well with just the tablet and in this case, it can also serve as a kickstand in landscape mode.

The slightly padded fabric is comfortable to hold or use in my lap and since when it is used with the dock, the cover is attached under the dock and not to the screen, it reduces the tendency the combination would normally have of tipping over when fully open.

I will avoid further raving about how great this thing is since I happen to know the woman who makes them and helped her improve her design, but I sincerely do love it's functionality.

I bought the MoKo case off of amazon... it's really not that bulky (I also don't like bulky at all), and in a pinch, the cover snaps off so you can go commando. My conly complaint about it is that the main camera gets a little blocked by the case unless you hold the tablet up. Haven't taken more than 3-4 pictures on the tablet, but the webcam for chat works just fine.

Default Minisuit / Poetic cases redesigned for Infinity.

They have redesigned the Minisuit and the Poetic 2 piece cases and put the cutouts in the right spots. Of the two, I grabbed the Minisuit, since I have had both for the Prime, and there were almost identical - granted the Poetic is a TINY bit better, but nothing substantial. They are both "PU Leather" (look it up on Wiki - Modern technology permits up to three or four horizontal layers being taken from a single hide. The leather used in the backing of bicast or PU Leather is a thin layer, remaining after other layers have been removed for traditional leather work They actually have to dye a leather pattern back onto it for lighter colors, this is why I avoid the browns, even if they look... okay, they are not very natural real looking.

After this they coat this thin, THIN split leather with a layer of polyurethane applied to the surface and then embossed (to have a texture)

For the money? Its damn nice, feels super soft, shines beautifully (try Pledge, which list leather as one of its applications- shines really nice)

Anyway the MiniSuit is $11.95

And the Poetic is 18.95

- At these prices, you can't go very wrong, and they do protect your tablet and dock. They do make it thick as a big phone book though, LOL! I usually only "sheath" my Infinity when traveling or taking it outside the house.

Just got my Versasleeve for my Infinity and thought I would throw up a few pics since I couldn't find any before I purchased.

It works nicely with or without the dock and has a very nice finish to it. Looks as premium as the Infinity it hides. The magnet clasp it very nice too and a surprise as I couldn't find any info on how it was held shut before I bought it. It is definitely more of a carry case than a cover but that's what I wanted. I hate putting covers on my gear but I treat my stuff nicely. Think of the versasleeve as protection for when you want to be mobile and in between uses. As you can see in the pics, every port is accessable while in the case. In the first shot, you can see it also has storage spots for a sim card, a stylus/pen and a small accessories pouch. The pouch is big enough for a charging cable or a couple of usb sticks but the charger is too big to fit not surprising)(.
