Default [Q] So what does "lag" mean?

Was just wondering what folks would define as "laggy" performance?

Is it like a delay from screen taps and swipes?...or stubborn browsers, jittery motion when dragging hi-res images or documents around on the screen.

I know for me the complicated heavily java loaded websites move like molasses.
Regular desktop web browsing does that sometimes too.

I do notice at times touching the screen to activate a link takes 600 milliseconds to light up.
Like the xda app or taptalk is a little slow.
Some apps have no delay it seems and others just don't want to co-operate at all.

I think all of those instances you mentioned would be considered lag. Are you feeling really bothered by it? Are you using any custom roms or just stock? There are some solutions available, with more on the way.
Transformer Infinity 32Gb - JB 4.1.1
ROM: CROMI v4.4 with _that kernel
Nexus 7 32Gb - JB 4.2.2
ROM: between sparksco's sabremod and sbdags' CROMi with M-kernel
SGS2 Epic 4G Touch - JB 4.2.2
ROM: Evervolv, Baked or Magical Unicorn
Xoom WiFi - JB 4.2.1
ROM: EOS 4 Wingray Nightly 180
Rockin' TWRP Touch Recovery on everything!

When someone--anyone--helps you, give them a THANKS!

No custom ROMs here.

I was curious because I've never really considered the tablet "laggy".
I'd be more inclined to say it's occupied and will respond when it gets around to it.

That's a good way to approach it!
