Thanks!! (hit thanks as well of course!)

Not sure why I can't download the ROM through the OTA though. Every time I click it, it automatically comes up with "There was an error in the file download", and then the 'Downloading File' notification comes up and it just stays at 0% until I cancel it. Don't have a problem downloading add-ons though...Not a big deal since I just download it from the website but does anyone else experience that too?

Thanks! 2.5 is a very nice update!

Install went well with regular wipe cache/dalvik.

No need to thank me, you do the hard work and my work hasn't started yet but for the next one hopefully everything will go as planned

Plus they wouldn't like me if they knew what I was saying last night about waiting till I'm home

Thanks again for the release and helping me

I patched slim-2.5.0-gt-i9100.zip with pdroid, seems to be working. After flashing update.zip you can install pdroidapk. Couldn't install it from market so I took the link from original pdroid thread
restore.zip is only for uninstall

Anyone lose the crt-off effect after updating to 2.5? Other than that all is good! Thank you guys.

EDIT: It actually appears to be there. However it is inconsistent. Maybe 1/4 of the time it works.

Default Talk and Gmail

Thank you for the ROM and for the update.

I am thinking to remove talk.apk and Gmail.apk from Gapps.zip before flashing.#
Searched a little in this thread and in the one with apps safe to remove http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...6#post25849926, but I cannot find a NO or YES.
Anyone thinking why it should be a definite NO?

EDIT: Soooo! 10 minutes down the page and more search:
- it seems to me that talk is not same with gtalk that gives us wakelocks
