Another problem with the OP's logic is this:

I mean, the Galaxy Note 2 has better specs than the S3, but I didn't see anyone whining about the S3 being obsolete due to that. If the note 2 had been called the S3+, then I'm sure people like the OP would be complaining all day.

If the S3 LTE had been given a different name, like the Galaxy X or whatever, then he probably wouldn't have minded. But just because it is still called the S3, it suddenly makes the original S3 obsolete.

In fact, Samsung's release of the S3 LTE is a good thing, because that means that they'll have to include more than just ram upgrades in next year's Galaxy S4.

I don't find it annoying, on the contrary, getting a new phone and clouding ur stuff in everytime is always orgasmic and joyful, so y don't u make it a frequent habit, although expensive.

I've had lte and 2gb ram with the att version and switched back over to the i9300 in my opinion the 2 GB wasn't even noticeable

until LTE becomes the default, i'm not gonna upgrade the i9300. i just got it 4 months ago and have another year and 8 months to go on the contract. probably by that time all the phones out will be on LTE and the galaxy s3 will be a dinosaur
