Mine did the same thing. I sent the keyboard back to them, they sent it back saying it was fine. I called them and complained that not only did they not fix the issue, but that the keyboard INCLUDING shipping time and all was still under 4 months old. They had me send it back in to them, they got it, and within a week I had a brand new one waiting for me when I got home, with a notation that the original one had a loose solder joint that would allow the charging system to "overload" the battery pack and "caused" it to expand, but under normal usages the keyboard should not have done this, it "MUST" have been something I was doing.
I replied back to them that I had the tablet docked and charging overnight as I had used both battery packs to shut down points. They had me send the tablet back this time, and found that there was a "loose" connection between the tablet AND the dock that caused the issue with the battery. They replaced both my new replacement keyboard AND my tablet and extended the warranties for both.
