Ion AT&T ICS update info.

When I first got plugged my phone into my computer and opened PC companion, it said I had an update. After about 2 hours of trying to get PC companion to recognize my phone for the update it finally said my phone was up to date. Yet I'm still on GB with the same verion. 6.0.C.1.257. AHHH!! I don't understand.

Could be they haven't pushed it out in your area yet. They typically do a phased roll-out which means some people will get the update before others until its released in all areas. Keep trying throughout the day.

Try doing a repair in PC companion that's what I heard other people did to get the update.

My update wasnt happening when i pressed the UPDATE button. but I did a repair my phone through the PC companion, and that started the update. it is currently being updated now. I'll get back as soon as the update is done.

Holding vol down and plugging in USB doesn't do anything. What am i doing wrong?

I tried, got an error message, too much traffic, try back later. Tried back got the old's phone is up to date be. I'll try again later...

Just tried that and it said there is no software available for my phone. Frustration level: Magenta.

Yeah, I'm still not getting the update to show up via PC Companion either. Still saying my phone is up to date as well. I would have thought it would have rolled out by now....but who knows?
