So finally I got intouch with someone from the site. They are trying to convince me that my order was for the U1000 (keep in mind the housing they sent me is black and not silver). I explained to them that the U1000 is silver and they were showing both the silver U1000 and Black X7501 pictures on their website, which is technically false advertising. To make a long story short they told me they would honor a refund of $80. I'm wondering If I should take the 20% hit or try to resell it on here to someone that might want the X7500 housing. Again it's the black housing and not the Silver. I told the guy I would be more than willing to do an even exchange if he can get his hand on the X7501 housing. I haven't heard from them since.

Actually, the U1000 comes in both black and silver - I know, I've got a black one.

HTC Advantage 7501 case Repair

It would be great (although it may be a fanciful desire) if there was a way to touch up the black anodized surface.b There are some touch up finishes out there. Has anyone tried them?

HTC will do a new case but they want nearly $300.00 to do it. Maybe Advantage owners should contact HTC in numbers to ask for a more reasonable repair.

Anyone found an actual 7501 (not Dopod) case online?
