A little reading (was on the first page) would have got your answer for you on your first question...basically the only real way to know is try. Do a nandroid and try. If it doesn't work, then you can just go back to the way you were.

My only request is red status bar icons and toggles. Oh and the center clock if possible. Basically I just want as much red and black/gray as possible :D haha

Wonder if already having the black status bar messes things up. I just tried flashing the 75% status bar and it's still black.

Nvm it's working, it's just black on the lock screen and in apps. It's transparent on home screens and app drawer. I guess I jumped the gun a bit lol

Flashed crisis clock on jedi 6.1.2 with aosp blue theme and it seems to work. The only thing is I had 97%before I flashed and after I had 100%, not sure what the deal is about that but it is decreasing, so it's not stuck on 100. I'll keep an eye on it and post if there is anything strange.


Edit: just noticed it changed the color of the aosp status bar and the notification toggles are no longer the 23 toggles setup jedi rom has. I'm assuming it's because this was based on clean rom and is probably the clean rom toggles.

The battery is 3% off from system battery or at least from what twrp says in recovery mode.

I will see what I can do about the red and black theme. Also, I plan on doing different color center clock mods. Hopefully I can work on them some time today.

Sometimes when flashing a bunch of different stuff your battery stats can get out of wack and not show the correct amount. I'd recommend wiping your battery stats. Also, the battery mods flash the full SystemUI.apk. I plan on redoing them using the villain theme system but until then any themes or mods you've flashed prior that touch the SystemUI.apk will be removed. There are some things you can flash after the battery mod but you will just have to give me a link with what your wanting to use and I can tell you if they will work together or not.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate the screen shots guys. Also, I will try and get some versions made for Jedi so those of you running it can use the mods without removing the 23 toggles. When I get them done I will create a separate thread.

back up: assuming that you already have a file manager app (e.g. root explorer, solid explorer, es file explorer, etc), navigate to /system/app, mount as rw, copy SystemUI.apk and save it on your external sd card.

  • download this zip file. open the zip and place the backed-up SystemUI.apk in the /system/app directory within the zip file. now it is ready to be flashed within recovery.

or

  • using the file manager app, copy the backed-up SystemUI.apk and paste it in the /system/app directory (the directory will have to be mounted as rw before pasting). once pasted, change the permission of the apk to rw-r-r. reboot.

Awesome. Red status bar stuff is my main thing. I want to use the 100% transparent bar, but the icons are almost the same color as my background, haha. Thanks for the mods!

@Tiff, how about posting the default SystemUI.apk in a flashable zip on the op? might make it easier for some. just a thought.

    After talking with Scott aka"scrosler" I've decided to start a thread for some Clean ROM mods & themes. So far I've got several different battery mods done but plan on doing status bar mods, different backgrounds for the notification pull down and a couple FULL themes. Also, if any one from the community has anything they would like to share just let me know and I will gladly add it to the op. If you have any requests let me know and I will do my best to fulfill them.

    All the mods listed in this post are for CleanROM 4.5 and HAVE the Generic Status Bar icons. The AT&T versions will be in the 2nd post and the Verizon versions will be listed in the third post.

    Just wanted to stop in and let you guys know where I'm at. I've had a pretty hectic week but I just got done redoing all of the battery mods and I'll will get them posted when I get up. After that I'll get to work on ALL the other stuff that's been piling up in her. Lol. Talk to you soon.

    Hey everyone, I apologize for my absence. I was in a really bad car accident and have been in the hospital. I just got released so I'm home now. I can't promise how quick I'm going to be because I'm still in pretty rough shape but I do plan to continue on with my work here. Like to get stuff updated to other roms, try and take care of all the requests and then finally get a full blown theme going. For all the people who pm'd me with questions and stuff I apologize for not getting back to you but I'll do my best to go through them all and reply.
