MIUI has now become extremely disappointing to me, so I will try compiling an AOSP rom with some cherry picks and what not. Of course this make take some time and I have a busy schedule. Keep watching for info, and any help is appreciated.

I like the simplicity and darkness of the stock JB look, and I feel like since gingerbread, when MIUI was the best thing ever, MIUI is progressively getting slower/buggier. It has just lost my appeal.

Welp...I guess I'll be on the look out for other MIUI ROMs. These are the only ROMs that can successfully flash on my phone. Haven't tried any AOSP JB ROMS but ICS ones would never flash for me.

Try out my MIUI rom, CypherVIII. It's the bees knees.

Seems xiaomi is trying to get too heavy into making miui commercial when it was best as an open source alternative to what comes on the phone out of the box. I thought there was a dev release (weekly) and a stable release but who knows now.

It's been a real pleasure guys. I have moved over to the Optimus G (unless development dies out there) and I'd like to thank all of you for the support and teaching me how to do everything. The Captivate got me hooked on Android, and you guys brought me from a noob, to someone interested in actual development. It's been real, hope to see some of you later on in the future.
