It also works for Straight Talk accounts on non BYOP plans, I have a nephew using it on the $45 non BYOP plan.

I won't argue either way if Att.mvno does or does not only work with BYOP, but wap.tracfone setting brought data to the phone

Cynnar can you make a flashable zip of this from your phone with the changes already made?

CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly up and running

I need someone who knows what they are doing to test carrier services, calling/data.

Instructions:

Download CyanogenMod for the i777 and Gapps

Extract the boot.img from the CyanogenMod zip and flash that to recovery. (dd if=/sdcard/boot.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6)

Extract the /system/build.prop file from the CyanogenMod zip and replace the one in your phones /system folder with it.

Copy the CyanogenMod and Gapps zips to your SD Card. Reboot to recovery, flash CyanogenMod then Gapps.

I had to factory reset and wipe cache to get it to fully boot the first time after flashing. If you try this from stock you might not have to, if you get the CM logo boot loop, you have to.

Add the Straight Talk APN - See Below

Optional: Install Triangle Away.

Thanks Entropy for the guidance!

Code:
Straight Talk APN
Name: Straight Talk
APN: wap.tracfone
Port: 80
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
APN Type: default,supl,mms
Ignore the build.prop hacking starting tomorrow.

Nice. I updated and will upload a new version of my Odin tar that has the latest CWM Recovery that works with CM10.1 so you wont have to flash the boot.img from the zip first.

Stock + Newest CWM Recovery + Newest DD - Flash with Odin, root with SuperOneClick.

Default Can't Register on Network Error

I have flashed the stock, then Entropy's kernel, then rooted one click. None of the unlock tools work. I can't get any of my active SIMS: iWireless, T Mobile, Net 10, AT&T sims to register on any network on this phone. I am new in here and MAN thank you guys so much for the development on this phone thus far.
I have a couple of customer's that have brought me bricks and things are really looking up.
Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this deal? I get 5 signal bars, before inserting any SIM. With all of the SIMS in, I get various signal strength, but all show signal.
Just all return that pesky Can't Register on Network error.
BTW Entropy I can do any experimenting you need done. I reall appreciate y'all senior members jumping in and moving this phone forward.

The fastest way to get from stock to CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly.

With Odin flash this in the PDA slot - http://d-h.st/Id6 (This is the newest version of ClockWorkMod Recovery required to flash CM10.1)

Download these two zips and place them on your SD Card - CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly and GAPPS

Boot into Recovery , first thing to do is a factory reset and wipe the cache then install the CyanogenMod zip then the GAPPS zip and finally reboot.

Code:
Straight Talk APN
Name: Straight Talk
APN: wap.tracfone
Port: 80
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
APN Type: default,supl,mms

Please don't link directly to jenkins - link to http://www.get.cm/?device=i777 instead

For those with triangles triggered, TriangleAway SHOULD work from within CM.
