Re: [CM10.1][4.2.1][UNOFFICIAL][JAN21] temasek's UNOFFICIAL BUILD - V22

Hello

My Nexus doesn't go on H+. It goes only on Hspa. I have changed the Sim cards. On my Nexus 4 it goes on H+. I hope you can help me.

I also couldn't get H+ icon even though I know the code is already there. Nevertheless my speed is H+.

Getting the H icon here on Optus so it is working.. I found that getting the right APN setting was a challenge, the CM APN settings for Australia are incorrect (for me) and once I got the right setting the H icon came up :)

In regards to CIFS, I have managed to get a CIFS Mount to work, but I MUST mount off /mnt/sharename and must use the uid=1000,gid=1015 in options in cifsmanager

If I recurse the CIFS mounting point ie /mnt/cifs/sharename the mount is empty, if I mount off any other mounting point ie /storage the mount is empty..

temasek's CM10.1 UNOFFICIAL BUILD - V23

  • Updated cm source, lots of it - ROYO (Read On Your Own) :p
  • Revert "init.rc: Create /storage mountpoint so Dalvik can mark as slave in zygotes". This reverts commit 3645436, since the tmpfs is clobbering mountpoints created by init.hardware.rc. Most (all?) devices with non-emulated SDs are currently b0rked.

Woah that's nice bro! You just saved my Internet quota today! I almost going to download PA rom after seeing that their Pie feature is almost complete.

Did you use ISAS? I have difficulty to set up ISA 4 and 6. I want to swipe from top left to get to notification (4), and swipe from top right to get to quick settings (6). I followed the instructions in OP: input device 0, touchscreen to screen factor x = 160, touchscreen to screen factor y =200. Could you share your setting if you use ISAS feature?

Lmao :)

I've not tried it yet. But I reckon many would love it so I share the thread link.

Oh Btw luckily my build can hide nav bar real time so in case the pie crashes u can easily bring back nav bar via settings.

My buttonless and "status bar" -free Nexus 7 dream is almost in my hands. Only thing missing is the way to get notification and quick settings by swiping from top of the screen.

Pie hasn't crashed yet. Maybe it will soon. Wait, did you meant to say "bring back navigation bar via settings" or "bring back navigation bar by long press power button". In my N7,when I long press power button I can select expanded desktop to be enabled or enabled. Not sure if this is the default.

My build has navigation bar height change which includes turning off nav bar itself. Check it out, it's in Display settings.

Oh i forgot about that! Ok so now I have chosen a different approach. I'll leave status bar as it is (not hidden), and I will turn off nav bar. My N7 is extremely sexy now! Hehe :D

P/S: I turned off gesture feature of that app and selected none for ISA 4 and 6. I'll only use PIE control.

I'll probably try same approach.

Existing nav bar remains contingency use.

Guys

I may stop doing builds for tilapia. Simply too few users.

I will ponder over a night's sleep.

Please don't ;)
I am sure there are more users just lurking around and happy to have cool new features on top of regular CM :)
But obviously... If it's too much work we can all understand that.

That LMT app works great for me btw. Thanks for pointing it out :)

That would be disappointing. How many are using tilapia builds ? How many would be enough? I know I don't install everyone, but probably every third or so

If it's your choice then I won't stop you.. But I sincerely hope you can make decision as a free man, with no influence from someone else especially the "wifi" lol.

BTW, maybe you can include support for grouper as well so as to increase the user base? I'm not sure how different tilapia rom from grouper but if anyone can figure it out, it's you my good man. Thanks for the ride, hopefully this is not the case. *crying while pressing send button*

Some country still don't have Nexus 7 3G (Thailand for example, have only wifi version will release 3G in feb) so, there will be more for sure.

Only thing missing is the way to get notification and quick settings by swiping from top of the screen.

Try this, it shows the statusbar when you swipe from the top:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kiumiu.ca.statusbar.free

It works great on CM expanded desktop and really good on PA, although on CM it is somehow easier to show the statusbar with the gesture, on PA sometimes it feels like the gesture was not recognized.
If only CM had a "swipe to show navbar" feature like AOKP does, that would be great...
