This phone needs a case? I don't think so, I mean it's almost invincible. It is waterproof, dust proof and that glass it's very durable too.

the guy doing the review has his Xperia Z cracked at the bottom part.

Dunno how he did that but I would put a protective case on it unless he made the crack by smashing a sledgehammer on it.
