My problem is solved.

I bought a PS3 controller from amazon, model #CECHZC2U that would pair with the phone only no buttons would show as being pressed and nothing else would work. Then I borrowed a CECHZC2Ua1 that worked just fine. I then bought a CECHZC2Ub2 that works fine as well.

"DroidEmu" and the six axis apps from the play store work great together! The game clip is great too, fits the HOX very snug, doesn't feel like it would ever fall out.

Getting the PS3 pad to work is easy, don't get the cracked version of the six axis app, buy it because it actually works, plus the dev deserves your cash for the work put into it.

Does this fit the HOX nicely even with a case on?

Hello, it is designed to fit an uncased device snugly, I don't think it'll work with the case on. I hope that helps!

I just ordered mine. It seems that unless its a support device the gameklip comes with an adhesive strip for a case to be stuck on.

For anyone wondering, the galaxy s3 gamklip should work with the HTC One X.

Edit. The gameklip works perfectly for our phones. The dimensions of the HTC One XL and gs3 are basically the same.
